Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

    Field Certification Smoke School: $200
    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This is a ONE DAY school that offers both the lecture and the field certification. It meets at The Lakes Lutheran Church. The field runs begin at 8:00 am, and the lecture begins at 11:00 am. DIRECTIONS: The Lakes Lutheran Church is located at 8200 West Sahara Ave. (at Cimarron, between Durango & Buffalo). From I-15, take exit 40. Go west on West Sahara Ave. approximately 7 miles. Turn right on Cimmaron and left into church parking lot.
