Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This school is a 1/2 day field, sponsored by Basic American Foods, offers the field certification. The field runs meet at Basic American Foods. It begins at 8:00 am and concludes at 12 pm. The school will be considered CLOSED when all the employees who were present at 8:00 am have passed. DIRECTIONS: Basic American Foods is located at 415 WEST Collins ROAD (not Street). in Blackfoot, ID. From Pocatello, take I-15 and exit at US-26 (exit 93 I-15 WEST). Turn Left on Parkway Dr. (AW Fast Food Restaurant on right) First right at West Bridge St. which turns into West Collins Rd. The plant is on your left. From Idaho Falls, take I-15 and exit at US-26 (exit 93 west). Turn right on US-26 for 8/10 mile. Phone is 208-785-3200.
