Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

    Field Certification Smoke School: $200
    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This one day school, sponsored by Perdue Farms, offers both the lecture and field certification. The lecture begins at 8:00, and the field runs begin at 10:00. Perdue Farms is located at 7036 Zion Church Rd. in Salisbury. DIRECTIONS: From the eastern leg of the Bypass (where Hwy 13 and 50 meet), take Ocean Gateway east. Turn left at Hobbs Rd. Continue on Hobbs Rd, Old Hobbs and onto Zion Church Rd. The training room is the New Garage Training Center. Attendees should park in the parking area south of the North gate entrance and enter the complex via foot. The New Garage will be the Blue structure west of the parking lot and training room is located just west of the flag pole.
