Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

    Field Certification Smoke School: $200
    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This school offers both the lecture and the field certification. The field runs take place from 8:00 am - 11:00 am. The lecture takes place from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. The school meets at Annapolis Navel Base. Call the office or e-mail to register for school.
    Directions:From interstate 301/50 � take Rowe Blvd E (Md 70) exit, towards Annapolis for .9 miles.

    Turn left onto Taylor Ave / MD-435 for .2 miles. Turn Right onto Annapolis St / MD 435 for .2 miles.

    Turn Right at first light, King George Street for 100yards.

    Turn Right into open gated fence. The CHP is the first building on the left.
