Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

Organizations who would prefer an in-person or livestream lecture, call the registrar at 901-381-9960.

    •  PRICING  Registrations received within less than 7 days from the start of class will be assessed a $25 late fee.

    Field Certification Smoke School: $200
    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This one day school is held at CC Metals 1542 N Main St Calvet City KY. Lecture will be held from 8-10 with field runs following at 10:00am.

    I-24 East From Paducah:
    �
    � Follow I-24 East to Exit 25B � Merge onto the Purchase Parkway (I-69)
    � At 1st stop light turn left onto Hwy 62 West (Dairy Queen at this corner)
    � At the top of the hill, 1st set of stop lights, turn right onto Hwy 95 North (also called Main St)
    � Will go over 2 sets of railroad tracks to a 4 way stop (Approximately 3 miles). �Go straight through the 4 way stop & it dead ends in our plant.

    I-24 West to Calvert City

    � Take Exit 27(Cracker Barrel is on this exit) turn right onto Hwy 62 West
    � At the 3rd set of stop lights, turn right onto Hwy 95 North (also called Main St) (2nd stop light has a Dairy Queen on the right, continue up the hill to next stop light)
    � Will go over 2 sets of railroad tracks to a 4 way stop (Approximately 3 miles). �Go straight through the 4 way stop & it dead ends in our plant.
