Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

  • This is a smoke school with staggered start times. Students will receive individual scheduled times to attend the field session.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

 LECTURE OPTIONS 

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

Organizations who would prefer an in-person or livestream lecture, call the registrar at 901-381-9960.

 PRICING  Registrations received within less than 7 days from the start of class will be assessed a $25 late fee.

Field Certification Smoke School: $0
Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

 SESSION NOTES  There is no cost for this event if you are a resident of Mississippi. If you are not from Mississippi and would like to attend, prices are $200 for the field, $100 for lecture, and $275 for the field and lecture. Please download a registration form or call us at 901-381-9960.

This is a two-day school offering both the lecture and the field. The lecture will be held online. You must attend the lecture on the scheduled day and then attend the field session on the scheduled day. Please provide your email upon registration to receive the lecture link, scheduled time of arrival, and any updated information.

The field exercises will be held at the North Jackson Youth Baseball Field at 1399 Lakeland Dr., Jackson, MS on 04-14-2021 and 04-15-2021, beginning at 8:00 am.

Merge onto I-20 E, 1.9 mi.
Keep left at the fork to continue on I-55 N, follow signs for Grenada/Memphis,

Use the right lane to take exit 98B for MS-25 N/Lakeland Dr. E toward Carthage,
