VR Method 9 certification
Compliance Assurance Associates, Inc. (CAA) VirtualOpacity® has the following requirements.
Client requirements
- A CAA client account with Method 9 candidates configured with email addresses and enrolled in the VR session.
- Payment arrangements must be made prior to VR software access.
- A VR headset purchased by your organization.
- A Method 9 lecture course is required for candidates that do not have a Method 9 lecture certificate.
Meta Quest 3
Either size (128GB or 512GB) works.

- A link to the VirtualOpacity User Guide (print) and VirtualOpacity instructional video.
- An online self-paced lecture course.
Pricing
VR field training: $250 per enrollment.
Lecture course: $50 per enrollment.
Self-paced lecture
CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.
Students are enrolled through the client portal.
