Be Prepared for Class

  • Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
  • CAA smoke schools are digital - bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration

  • One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.
  • Two-Day and Three-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back for the subsequent day(s) of class. The final day of smoke school ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified.

SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)

CAA's self-paced lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.

    Self-Paced Lecture Course: $50

     SESSION NOTES  This is a one day school that offers the lecture and field certifications held at the North Georgia Agricultural Fairgrounds 500 Legion Dr Dalton GA. The lecture begins promptly 8:00 am at the stage with the field following at 10:00.

    Directions from I-75: Take exit 336 onto US_41/US-76/N Bypass. Turn right onto N Glenwood Ave. Take left onto Legion Dr. Fairgrounds on the right.
