The opacity limit for Alabama is 20% opacity (6-min avg); one 6-min period per 60 min may reach 40%, as established under Ala. Admin. Code r. 335-3-4-.01(1)(a)-(b).

Compliance is demonstrated via EPA Method 9.

Averaging period: 6-min average, Method 9; one 6-min/hr exception to 40%; COMS provisions in paras. (3)-(7)
