Delaware Visible Emissions / Opacity Standard

The opacity limit for Delaware is 20% opacity, aggregate no more than 3 min/hr and 15 min/24 hr; SSM may not exceed 40% for more than 6 consecutive min/hr per Sec. 2.2, as established under 7 DE Admin. Code 1114, Sec. 2.1; SSM at Sec. 2.2 (2024/25 amendment).

Compliance is demonstrated via EPA Method 9.

Averaging period: 3-min aggregate per hour + 15-min per 24-hr cap (not a 6-min block average state)
