The opacity limit for Wyoming is New sources capped at 20% opacity and existing sources at 40% (except existing incinerators/wood-waste burners), with a 6-minute-per-hour aggregate allowance up to 40%. , as established under WAQSR Ch. 3, Sec. 2(a) (new sources: 20%); Sec. 2(e) (any source: <=6 min aggregate/hr up to 40%); Sec. 2(h) (new indirect-heating fuel burning: 20% w/ 40% <=2 min/hr); Sec. 2(d) (diesel engines 30% below 7,500 ft).

Compliance is demonstrated via EPA Method 9.

Averaging period: 6-minute average; exceptions ≤6 min in any hour

General emission standards may be superseded by specific emission standards in other chapters of WAQSR.
