Come Prepared for Smoke School
- Field runs start at the time stated above. Please arrive a few minutes early to complete sign-in procedures.
- CAA smoke schools are digital — bring a fully-charged smart phone or tablet. Extra devices will be available for use if you do not have a mobile device.

Smoke School Duration
- One-Day Smoke Schools: Field certification ends when attendees who arrived at the start time are certified, or no longer wish to attempt to become certified. Larger public schools may have two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
- Two-Day Smoke Schools: The first day of smoke school runs until the stated end time; students still requiring certification will come back the next day. The second day of smoke school typically ends around noon.
SELF-PACED LECTURE (default format)
CAA's self-paced EPA Method 9 / Method 22 lecture fulfills EPA Method 9 requirements and is approved by TCEQ for Texas students.
Organizations who would prefer an in-person or livestream lecture, call the registrar at 901-381-9960.
Enrollments received within less than 7 days from the start of class will be assessed a $25 late fee.
